MENGATASI ACNE VULGARIS DENGAN MASKER MORICEN (MORINGA OLEIFERA DAN CENTELLA ASIATICA)

Abstract
Acne vulgaris merupakan penyakit kulit kronis yang melibatkan peradangan pada unit pilosebasea akibat produksi sebum berlebih, penyumbatan pori, kolonisasi Cutibacterium acnes, serta respons inflamasi. Kondisi ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan kulit, tetapi juga aspek psikologis, serta berisiko menimbulkan bekas luka dan hiperpigmentasi. Meskipun terapi konvensional efektif, efek samping seperti iritasi, kulit kering, dan resistensi antibiotik menjadi keterbatasan dalam penggunaannya. Kajian ini disusun dalam konteks buku ilmiah ber-ISBN 978-634-04-9351-1 sebagai upaya pengembangan terapi berbasis bahan alam.
Pendekatan alami melalui Moringa oleifera dan Centella asiatica menunjukkan potensi yang menjanjikan. Moringa memiliki aktivitas antibakteri, antioksidan, dan antiinflamasi, sedangkan Centella berperan dalam penyembuhan luka, peningkatan kolagen, dan perbaikan skin barrier. Kombinasi keduanya memberikan efek sinergis dalam mengatasi proses inflamasi sekaligus mendukung regenerasi kulit.
Formulasi MASKER MORICEN (Moringa–Centella) menawarkan pendekatan komprehensif untuk acne ringan hingga sedang melalui mekanisme antibakteri, antiinflamasi, dan penyembuhan jaringan. Dengan profil keamanan yang baik dan kemudahan penggunaan, masker ini berpotensi menjadi terapi komplementer yang efektif sekaligus inovatif dalam perawatan kulit berjerawat.
