Screening for Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Engineering, Informatics, Communication, Science & Technology, Education, (Christian)Theology, and Multidisciplinary Knowledge ( EICSTEM Journal) is committed to ensuring the originality and scientific integrity of all published articles. Therefore, every submitted manuscript undergoes plagiarism screening before entering the peer review process.
1. Screening Procedure

All submitted manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent).

Manuscripts with a high similarity index without proper citation or attribution will be rejected or returned to the author for revision.
2. Plagiarism Standards

Using more than 15–20% of text from other sources without proper attribution is considered plagiarism.

Direct copying or paraphrasing from other works without appropriate references is strictly prohibited.
3. Actions Against Misconduct

Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected.

Authors committing serious violations may be barred from submitting to EICSTEM for a specified period or permanently.

In cases of duplicate publication or plagiarism after publication, the article will be retracted, and a notice will be issued.
4. Author Education

EICSTEM encourages authors to properly cite sources and adhere to publication ethics to prevent plagiarism.
