Therefore, every submitted manuscript undergoes plagiarism screening before entering the peer review process.

1. Screening Procedure

• All submitted manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent).

• Manuscripts with a high similarity index without proper citation or attribution will be rejected or returned to the author for revision.

2. Plagiarism Standards

• Using more than 15–20% of text from other sources without proper attribution is considered plagiarism.

• Direct copying or paraphrasing from other works without appropriate references is strictly prohibited.

3. Actions Against Misconduct

• Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected.

• Authors committing serious violations may be barred from submitting to EICSTEM for a specified period or permanently.

• In cases of duplicate publication or plagiarism after publication, the article will be retracted, and a notice will be issued.

4. Author Education
