AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Journal of Engineering, Informatics, Communication, Saintek, Education, Theology & Multidisciplinary Knowledge (EICSTEM)

 

  1. General Requirements
  1. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.
  2. Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian.
  3. Authors are required to follow the EICSTEM writing style and formatting standards.
  4. Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their submission. The journal employs plagiarism detection software to maintain academic integrity.

 

  1. Types of Accepted Manuscripts

EICSTEM accepts the following categories of scholarly work:

  • Original research articles
  • Review articles
  • Case studies
  • Theoretical or conceptual papers
  • Multidisciplinary research articles

  1. Technical Specifications
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Manuscript length: 8–20 pages
  • Line spacing: 1.15
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Margins: 4–3–3–3 cm (left–top–right–bottom), or according to the official journal template

 

  1. Citations and References
  • All citations and references must follow the APA 7th Edition style.
  • Every reference listed must be cited within the manuscript.
  • Recommended sources include peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, academic books, and reputable research publications.

 

  1. Manuscript Submission
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the EICSTEM Open Journal System (OJS).
  • Authors must create an account and complete all required details.
  • All communication regarding the submission will be conducted via OJS or the journal’s official email.

 

  1. Peer-Review Process
  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review, ensuring anonymity between authors and reviewers.
  • The review period typically ranges from 2 to 8 days, depending on the manuscript’s complexity (subject to editorial conditions).

 

  1. Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to the journal’s ethical policies, including:

  • Academic honesty
  • Data transparency
  • Strict prohibition of plagiarism
  1. Publication Fees
  • The journal may or may not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC), depending on the complexity of the manuscript.
  • Publication services are fully free or conditionally free, subject to editorial policy.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work.

Additional Submission Requirements

All manuscripts must meet the following conditions:

  1. The manuscript fully complies with the guidelines specified in the Author Guidelines.
  2. The manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under review by any other journal.
  3. All references have been verified for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Every table and figure has been properly numbered and provided with a clear title or caption.
  5. Permission has been obtained for the publication of all photographs, datasets, and any other materials included in the manuscript.
