Abstract
Gamaliel K. Jarek. (2025). An Analysis of Construction Management Based on Theological and Technological Approaches
This study examines the application of theological and technological approaches in construction management to assess their contributions to improving operational efficiency, professional integrity, and project sustainability. The analysis was conducted through a literature-based method involving the review of scholarly articles, academic books, and project reports that utilize modern technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), the Internet of Things (IoT), and integrated management systems.
Data collection was carried out by analyzing prior research, reviewing large-scale project case studies, and examining documents related to theological ethics in construction decision-making. The findings indicate that theological values—such as honesty, responsibility, justice, and environmental stewardship—effectively strengthen ethical and integrity-driven construction management practices. At the same time, construction technologies enhance design accuracy, worker safety, process transparency, and resource efficiency.
The synergy between theological principles and technological advancements has a positive impact on project governance, construction performance, and environmental sustainability. However, several challenges remain, including limited human resource competencies, the relatively high cost of technology implementation, and low awareness of spiritual ethics within the construction sector. This study recommends strengthening professional training, adopting environmentally friendly technologies, and formulating ethical policies grounded in theological principles to support more comprehensive and sustainable construction management.
