Abstract

Buku ini mengkaji satanisme sebagai konstruksi teologis dan sosial dalam wacana keagamaan. Figur Satan tidak hanya dipahami sebagai simbol kejahatan, tetapi juga sebagai hasil interpretasi yang dipengaruhi oleh konteks sejarah, budaya, dan kekuasaan.


Melalui pendekatan historis dan sosiologis, kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa tuduhan satanisme sering berkaitan dengan kepanikan moral, stigmatisasi, serta legitimasi otoritas religius. Dengan demikian, satanisme dipahami sebagai konstruksi sosial yang tidak terlepas dari dinamika kekuasaan.


Buku ini mengajak pembaca memahami konsep baik dan jahat secara kritis dan objektif, sehingga dapat melihat fenomena keagamaan secara lebih proporsional dan kontekstual.
